Be surprised during a unique and unforgettable cruise through the historic Gouda canals and discover the fascinating story behind our world-famous city!
With our special ships we take you to places that stay hidden from other tours. During an approximately 1-hour trip we sail through the Gouda canals in 2 directions along the north-south route that was used for centuries by ships to pass through the world's longest lock from Gouda's city center to the Dutch IJssel river.
Our skippers entertain you with fun facts about the city, and of course you can ask them your own questions!
Gouda Canal Cruise can also be booked as a charter for a group or private tour, company outing, or team building activity.

Would you like to enjoy a private canal cruise outside our regular departure times?
Book Bootje Kaas exclusively for you and your friends, family or colleagues and enjoy a 2-hour cruise through the historic city centre of Gouda, accompanied by one of our skippers. After submitting your request, you will receive our menu, allowing you to pre-order sharing platters, snacks and drinks to enjoy during the cruise.
Thanks to our fleet of three canal boats, we can accommodate private cruises for groups of up to 58 people. Depending on the size of your group, we will use one, two or three boats to ensure everyone enjoys a comfortable cruise.
Private cruises are available all year round.
